Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Wahnsinn Wagens B.V. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you interact with our website and services. By using our website, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and postal address provided through our contact or commission inquiry forms
Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and browsing behavior collected automatically when you visit our website
Communication records: correspondence when you contact us via email or through our website
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To respond to your inquiries and commission requests
To provide and improve our services
To send relevant updates about your commission or inquiry, where applicable
To maintain the security and functionality of our website
To comply with legal obligations
We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:
Contractual necessity: to fulfill or prepare a commission agreement with you
Legitimate interest: to operate and improve our website and services
Consent: where you have provided explicit permission, such as for marketing communications
Legal obligation: where required by Dutch or EU law
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
Service providers who assist in operating our website and business (e.g., hosting, email services), under appropriate data processing agreements
Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights
6. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Until you accept, only essential cookies are used and none of the tools described below are loaded.
Essential: required for the website to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, used to understand how visitors find and use our website.
Marketing: the Meta pixel, used to measure the results of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website.
Customer relationship management: HubSpot, which sets a cookie so that a commission inquiry can be linked to the visit that led to it.
Session recording and heatmaps: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website. Clarity records a reconstruction of your visit, including the pages you view, how far you scroll, where you move your cursor, and what you click, and combines this with other visits into aggregated heatmaps. This is not a video of your screen and it does not capture anything outside our website. The contents of form fields and drop-down menus are always masked and are never transmitted to or stored by Clarity, so anything you type into a contact or commission form is not part of a recording. Clarity is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, which acts as an independent data controller for this data and stores it in the Microsoft Azure cloud, with transfers outside the EU governed by Standard Contractual Clauses. Recordings are retained for 30 days and aggregated heatmap data for up to nine months.
If you have already made a cookie choice and wish to change it, clear this website's stored site data in your browser and you will be asked again on your next visit. You can also contact us using the details below to object to processing or to request deletion of the data associated with your visit. Declining means Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, the Meta pixel, and HubSpot tracking are not loaded at all. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Commission-related records may be retained for the duration required under Dutch commercial and tax regulations.
8. Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Restrict or object to the processing of your data
Request data portability
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
