Powertrain Rebuilt to Perfection
At the heart of this masterpiece beats a completely revised 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder turbo diesel OM606 Mercedes engine, renowned for its strength and performance potential. Equipped with a Borgwarner Airwerks S200SX-E SuperCore turbo and matching exhaust housing, the engine delivers blistering power and razor-sharp response. The Dieselmeken Mechanical Superpump and Ultraflow fuel injection pump ensure flawless fuel delivery, while the Bosch starter motor guarantees reliable starts, every time.
Built to Perform. Finished to Impress.
To manage the heat, we installed a Hoogste Motorsport aluminum radiator, and a custom welded exhaust optimizes flow and sound. Kangeroos Team engine mounts and RPM Depot rubbers keep everything firmly in place, even under extreme loads. Before reinstalling the engine, the engine bay was meticulously painted, creating a fresh, factory-quality backdrop for this mechanical showpiece.
The result?
The result? A staggering 500 horsepower, with even more potential still untapped. And the torque? It’s nothing short of breathtaking — put your foot down, and it feels like you’re being launched in a jet, pinned to your seat by relentless acceleration.
Transmission built for PERFORMANCE
Power is nothing without control. That’s why we fitted a Mercedes 716.6 transmission, paired with a 210mm 3.23 differential for the ideal balance between acceleration and cruising comfort. Kangeroos axles handle the torque effortlessly, while the organic 260 mm clutch kit offers smooth engagement and exceptional grip. A short shifter rounds out the package, delivering crisp, precise gear changes that amplify the driving experience.
Suspension and Braking Setup for PRECISION
True performance extends beyond the powertrain. KW Fahrwerk V3 coils and H&R 40mm lowering springs provide razor-sharp handling without compromising comfort. The H&R 28 mm front axle stabilizer and Strongflex bushings sharpen the chassis response, while motorsport bearings ensure maximum durability.
Brakes That Match the Power
To rein in the power, we installed a 330mm 4-piston Brembo front brake kit, delivering exceptional stopping power and fade resistance. This all rides on Maxilite 17-inch EVO 2 style wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 245/40/17 tires — the ultimate combination of grip and visual impact.
Interior Where Heritage Meets Modern Style
Inside, classic elegance meets modern performance. A Blaupunkt Bremen radio brings vintage charm with modern audio quality, while a custom shift knob adds a personal, sporty touch. The Techart parcel shelf adds a distinctive rear accent, and the restored leather upholstery and restored headliner return the interior to its original luxury. Wrapped interior panels in carbon look finish the cabin with a contemporary, motorsport-inspired edge.

EXTERIOR Shaped by Precision and Passion
On the outside, Wahnsinn One is a rolling work of art. The custom EVO 2 body kit, a tribute to one of Mercedes’ most legendary designs, was not simply fitted it was painstakingly shaped and refined over 500 hours of craftsmanship. Every curve, gap, and line was perfected with surgical precision.

The body was then painted and polished to a mirror-like finish, accentuating every contour, while the painted brake calipers add a subtle, striking detail behind the wheels. The result is a show-stopping presence that commands attention from every angle.
